I Am Thankful

Today my heart is ever thankful.
I am thankful for all the gifts from all of you
to help me get better.
I am thankful for all the good wishes,
healing magic bubbles and prayers.
I am thankful for your love,
and circle of paws.
I am thankful to the Universe
for the gift of life.
I am thankful for the sunrays
that shone down on my shoulders
when I was weak.
I am thankful to the stars and moon
who watch me sleeps.

I am thankful for today.

Two winters ago,
my friend Angel Stubby
sent me a poster poem on thankfulness.
The words became a part my heart then,
and will be forever and ever.
My lips could never speak
with words 
as the writers of this poem have done.
I shared these words with you before,
andbecause I am so thankful
I share these words again
with you and our land.
Forever grateful I am.

as one we send thanks
to FOOD PLANTS

MEDICINE HERBS
of the world
and their keepers

TO ALL ANIMALS
& their teachings
greetings & thanks

THE TREES
for shelter & shade
fruit & beauty
greetings & thanks

TO ALL BIRDS
large and small
joyful greetings & thanks

And from the four directions
THE FOUR WINDS
thank you for purifying the air
we breathe and giving us strength

THE THUNDERERS
our grandfathers in the sky
We hear your voices

and now THE SUN

leader of women

Someday Soon

Someday soon I will run!
 I will run as fast as my legs will run!
 Someday soon I will play with all my toys!
 Someday soon I will tiptoe into the forest
and sit and listen to my forest friends- chattering 
and watch them scampering all around me!
 Someday soon all these things will happen
 because
 today I got my staple out and my stitches too!
My lung is working good and I am healing!
I feel itchy- but its a good itchy!

 But for now,
 more time must come and go before I can do all these things-

 but it won't be long now- now it won't!

 This was my photo taken in September.
 I  remember this day clearly- just like it was yesterday
 and it felt so good playing in the sunshine,
 and I will feel so good again-
 someday soon.!

REST and napping times

resting, napping, quiet time,
 soft blankets and snugglys,
 kissys on my head,
 huggs,
whispers in my ear,
 receiving love from friends,
sleeping,
 being held in mommys arms.

There are no words to describe this moment.

Guess What I Did Today !

Guess what I did today!
 All my toys were calling my name
 so I walked across the room to see them.!
Yes, they are all still here!!
 They are waiting for me
to get better!

When I get better and stronger- we can all play!

Mommy has been giving me cream cheese  to hide my pills in.
 at least today-
I am smart and I find those pills!.
I am eating and drinking and walking,,
and sleeping
and getting better!
