"The Whales Song"

The sun warmed my shoulders, as I peered across the sea.
From far away, I heard sounds that I had never heard before.
These sounds were gentle to my ears. The sound was coming closer and closer.

I climbed to the highest cliff, that I could find. I listened, and then I searched.
My eyes scanned the horizon. I looked to your side of the world, far, far away.
I looked as far, as I could see. I looked to the North, the South, the East and the West.
The mysterious sound, was coming closer and closer.

And then without warning, the sound was right in front of me.
Suddenly and magestically, a sea creature leaped out of the ocean.
It splashed,,,,, and then,,,, I was all wet!
I shivered, and shook my head. I rubbed the droplets from my eyes.
This beautiful, mysterious, creature that I had never seen before, was right before my eyes.
It swam in circles, and then would plunge down, down , down, into the dark sea.
I did not understand what this sea creature could be.
From deep in the sea, I could hear the sounds.
The sounds,,,, were like a lyllabye.

The sun was getting sleepy, and was closing its eyes, until morning.
The ocean waves snuggled like a fluffy blanket, and then the sun disappeared.
I sat and watched the sun sink into the sea. I listened to the ocean roar.
And then it was at that moment,,, when I noticed a giant bubble drifting towards me.
Like magic in a fairy tale, I heard the words..... "Close your eyes and count to 3 Tweedles, count to 3".
I closed my eyes and counted to 3.
Then, like a dream come true, I was inside the giant bubble with Puff, my sea horse friend.
Puff told me about how he and Star, had been helping lead all the sea creatures to clean water and safety. "The ocean is healing itself," Puff said. "Your friends have helped the oceans so much."
"But now I must ask for more help, Tweedles."
This creature that you saw today, is my friend,, she is a whale.
She has a family called a pod.
This is a mama whale, and she has a baby in her tummy.
I will lead them to safety in the mighty oceans. The baby whale will be born soon.
But, I need you -to tell all your friends, to help me.
Please help me to find a safe place for this family of whales to live, and for all the other whales in the oceans. We must keep them safe from the dangers in the world.
The sounds that you heard today, were the songs of the whales.
The whales sing songs, just like you and me. This is their planet too,,,, please help.
Nitey nite my friends,
love

"They Are Hungry"

All of my friends have been talking about the homeless doggys in orphanages.

The doggy orphanages are trying to take care of all the homeless, and find homes for the homeless.

Now we can help.

Thanksgiving and Christmas is coming soon, and I want to help all the homeless have food, and help the orphanage find homes.

Everyday, I count all my lucky stars, that I have a forever home and food.

My friends said that I could copy this link,,,,, so I did..... now I share it with you.

I hope I did this right,,,, so it will make some wishes come true for doggys with no homes.

* Each year, more than 4 million dogs end up in shelters and breed rescue organizations. Pedigree created The PEDIGREE Adoption Drive to help shine a spotlight on the plight of these homeless dogs.

So far more than 1 million bowls have been donated.

* Special for BlogPaws West: For each blog that posts about the PEDIGREE Adoption Drive through September 19, PEDIGREE will donate a bag of its new Healthy Longevity Food for Dogs to shelters nationwide.

It's simple: Write a post, help a dog

Just write a short post on your blog that mentions the Pedigree Adoption Drive, and uses the words, "Dogs Rule". Pedigree will donate a 20 pound bag of their new dog food, Pedigree Healthy Longevity Food for dogs to shelters across the country for every post written.

Do you want to help?

"The Forest Is On Fire"

A huge shadow drifted mysteriously through the gray clouds.
I saw the shadow on the tree tops, and then it soared around me, in circles.
I spun around until I was dizzy.
In the blink of an eye, I recognized who the shadow belonged to.
It was my friend Owlburt, the wisest owl, in all of the forests.

I noticed that some of Owlburts feathers were a little ragged looking,
a little frazzled
and tattered looking,
and some feathers were burnt!
"I have come so far to find you, Tweedles. I flew as fast as my wings could fly." Owlburt said.

"I need to ask for your help. Can you come and help me?"
"You see Tweedles, the forest is on FIRE, in Colorado"
"Forest animals are running for their lifes.
They don't know where to go. Animals are afraid. We must help them."
With huge owl eyes, Owlburt looked at me,,,, he opened his huge beak, and said....
"Will you help me? "

What's a Tweedles to do?
Of course, was my answer, of course I will help you Owlburt!!
In an instant, I climbed onto Owlburts back.
I tightly clinched ahold of the soft feathers on Owlburts neck, and I rested my face, on his head.
As Owlburt looked back at me, he winked, and then and with a leap, we were in the air!
I held on tight as we soared over the billowy storm clouds, and over moutains.
The wind tickled my ears, but I did not care.
I watched the earth below, and my eyes caught a glimpse of all the green and golden colors, of our wonderful world.
I saw the desert and the lakes and rivers and snow capped mountains.
And then,,,, I smelled smoke, black, black smoke.
Animals were running in all directions!
The forest was on fire!!
I had no time to think. Now was the time.....,,,,,
I reached my paws into my pockets and pulled out a fist full of bubbles,,,, one by one,,, the bubbles,,, the magic bubbles floated into the smokey sky.
Magically the bubbles joined hands with each other,,, the bubbles swirled and swirled in the sky and then slowly they drifted to the ground below..
The bubbles surrounded all the animals, protecting them and leading them to safety.
I looked down through the smoke , to the animals below. I watched the animals follow the trail of bubbles to safety.
They followed the bubbles to water, and to where the air was not smokey.
There were bunnies and deer, and racoons, and skunkies,,, and so many birds....
The animals were safe at last.

It's a long journey for all these animals,,, I keep them in my heart tonight.
I keep mother earth in my heart, too,,,,, I know her heart is sad.
I believe in hope,,,,, I know the earth will heal.

This story is dedicated to the brave workers who are fighting the fires with their shovels and helicopters and hoses. To the many familys who lost their homes, or those who are afraid.
To our friends Melissa, Fred, Emmitt and Melanies family, and to the forest that burned .
And our many forest friends,,, may they all follow the trail of bubbles.
And to Owlburt, the wisest owl in the forest,,, I dedicate this story.

"I Will See You Again Sometime"

I am a dreamer.
These magic bubbles,,,,, helped make my wish, and my dreams come true.
Let me share with you.

The magic bubbles came floating across the Great Northwest sky.
The bubbles brought my friends , from Washington.
The bubbles also brought sweet Diane from California,.
Diane was visiting with her family in Washington.
Together we met and we re-united,,,,
We shared a dream, my dream, that came true.
We shared smiles and happy times.

The bubbles joined my sweet friends and I, together,
in The Land of the Dalhia Festival , in Oregon.
Flower blooms ,,,,,,
the many colors of the rainbow
painted the earth below, in a glorious display.
Reds blossoms
and yellow blossoms
and purple blossoms
and orange blossoms
and white blossoms,,,,,
There was such a slendorious display,
I could not fathom their beauty.
Proudly the Dahlias stood.
Proudly the bubbles swirled around them.

I met Roxy girl, @ Roxy's Adventures,,, for the first time.
Roxy, is my new bloggy pal from the state of Washington.
She lives in Washington, the same state as Sequoia and Tuni and Puglette.
If you have not met Roxy, go and say hello.
Roxy is so mellow and charming.
What a cute little pup, she is.
Look at those eyes!
Roxy drews a lot of attention!
It was easy to see, that Roxy is the Apple, of Sharon and Wayne's eye. (her parents)
We had the grandest time sniffing all the Dahlias.

This is My Blue Moon friend, Kong .
He stood so galently, as he waited for me to walk over to him.
Our tails wagged. Our noses touched.
Kong was with his mom Gail.
The crowds surrounded Kong as he stood so proud.
I cannot count all the hugs and kisses that Kongs little lips received.
Isn't he so "beautious, and he knew how to show his cuteness.
Kong does not have a bloggy, but his Aunt Daine does.
You can say hello to Kong, here Dianes Mixed Art,

Both Roxy and Kong were like famous celebrities in the crowds of people.
Everyone wanted to have their pictures taken with them.
Everyone wanted to kiss and hug them.
To complete my dream come true,,,
All my friends came to see "my Tweedles world."
My world that is surrounded by the forest.
I do believe the forest sang,,,,,,,,
as Kong and Roxy ran free,, in my huge yard.
There was so much to sniff, so much to explore.
My sweet Diane and Gail smothered me in kisses and hugs.
I will never wash my tummy again!!! (that is where the kisses are).
I was sad to see to say goodbye,,,
but I was thankful to the magic bubbles
for making my dream come true.
Please come back again, my friends.
Nitey nite
