"Catching Sun Rays "

I want to touch a SUN-RAY, and follow it into the sky.
I want to hear the forest sing.
So come along with me.

The forest is dancing.
Yes, spring magic is in the air.
I smell magic.
I smell spring.
The trees are singing- do you hear their songs?
Birds are chattering happy songs,
and butterflys are flittering here and there.
Maybe I will find a Sun Ray to touch.
And if I do,
I will follow it into the sky.

I heard the sound of rushing waters,
as it raced along the river bank.
Tiny silver bubbles floated down stream.
I wonder where the bubbles go?

The little buds on the bare naked trees,
are starting to peek out at me.
Tiny leaves are unfolding,
and wiggling in the breeze.
Red leaves, and green leaves,
wiggle and call to me.
I think, that I see a Sun Ray!
Could it be?
As quick as I saw the Sun Ray come-
it was gone!

Little ferns are poking their heads out of the earth.
Baby ferns are still curled up sleeping.
I will be quiet. I will walk softly.
I think I see a Sun Ray.
Maybe I can touch it, if I hurry.

If I could just touch a Sun Ray.
I'd follow it into the sky.
And then I would climb a rainbow.
You could come along with me.
If only,,,,,,,If only
Do you ever wish "if only"?
Why do Sun Rays disappear,
before my very eyes?

I will keep looking for my Sun Ray.
But until I find it,
I think I will make mudpies.
Nitey nite, my friends
love

Hey there Tweedles!
You are so,so sweet and highlight the beauty of innocence!
I am of the opinion that the magic about sun-rays is that you CAN'T touch them...they can only touch you! Have you seen the sunshine in your smile?

Sweet Tweedles,
Don't you just love the first signs of spring? I sure do.

Hi sweet Tweedles! You look so cute in your little red fleece traipsing through the forest. I know you were walking slowly so you wouldn't wake up Owlbert as he slept.

I tried to catch sun rays the other day. A momma robin came to my backyard and told me that she catches sun rays and that she would teach me how. She flew off, high in the air, almost out of sight and then all of a sudden she was back on the ground with a sun ray. It was amazing! Then she told me it was my turn and I ran as fast as I could but I couldn't get off the ground. The sun rays were out of my reach but at least I tried.

I saw your butterfly in our garden this morning, he must have flown like the wind to get here so quick.
I gave him a gummy smile and told him to go home. x x x

You live in a beautiful place, complete with an enchanted forest. I think this forest is kind of like Peter Pan's Never, Never Land. You remind me of Tinkerbelle, a little on the mischievous side. I like the way you look at life, through eyes of beauty and innocence. You are such a darling little girl and your Moms love you very much. Thanks for sharing your world with us. Love you!!

Tweedles, I do believe you will catch a sun ray one day, and ride it high into the sky and slide along on a rainbow! The sun warms so much and brings life and happiness so I just know it wants to be found and followed! And you, Tweedles, will show us the way!
