Let's Look For Wonders!

Feeling warm and cozy is a good thing.
But  sometimes my heart yearns for more.
Will you come with me as I go look for wonders?

Let's go listen to the waterfall as she sings thunderous songs!
Ohh, I feel her voice.
Can you hear it too?
 Let's feel the sun rays
as they shine though the naked branches,
and warm our shoulders.
Can you feel Mother Earths love?
Can you let your eyes look at the gloriousness of this sleeping fern!
Let's listen to the songs flying in the sky
as wings paint the clouds!

Let's leave a track in the snow,
so Mother Earth will know we visted her special places.
Let's find shelter under the branches-
just like the bunnys and birdies do.!
Let's walk softly and listen to the quiet.
Let's look for new wonders every day.
What wonders have you seen?
Can you tell me?
Nitey nite
love

I love your appreciation for nature. Sometimes my favorite thing in the woods is the smell of the trees and the earth. It makes me feel serene.

Mmmm.... This Blog post made me want to go hiking!! ;-D
What wonders have I seen? This morning, when I awoke, outside our living room window was a glorious red sunrise. As though God had taken some brushes and painted the sky!! I smiled a cockeyed smirk, and stood there, utterly mesmerized. Moments later, after I used the toilet, it was gone!! ;op

Tweedles, I do look for wonders. I am amazed by the snow and how it gets here, when I am sleeping. I wonder why it always feels so good to take a walk everyday in my neighborhood. Mostly I wonder...what would it be like to be snuggling with my sweet pal Tweedles and wondering together?

Your post gave me a great yearning to be outside in daylight. It's 9 PM now, so no go. But I know I will be out tomorrow, being quiet, listening for the magic!

Thank you dear friend for filling my heart with this walk. If you were her I would take you to the river and sit quietly together watching the dark mountain as the sky lightened and suddenly the sun burst into view singing a frosty good morning song. Then we would share a warm fry bread like our native people make and watch the world come to life.

I believe it's time for an adventure... would you like to ride a boat and cross the seven seas? Or are you the type who climbs the highest mountain top.

Happy New Year my sweet Tweedles.

Dear Tweedles,

I have seen many wonders. Some the same as you. Some that are truly my own.

The biggest wonder however is not the things I see, but the things that I smell. My nose discovers happiness, someone who had hamburger for dinner, a scary thing, a death, a birth, and a peaceful morning.

I love my nose.

Do you use your nose too?

Cobi
