The Pond Was Singing

The croaking sounds were not very loud,
but I heard them ohh so clear!
My ears followed the croaks to the pond
where I heard splishing and splashing!
The sounds were not very loud
but I heard them ohh so clear..

I saw the frogs croaking and laughing
and leaping to and fro!
I wanted to laugh and  croak too!
I did not croak very loud,
but I croaked along with my best croak
and my biggest leap of all!

Spring birds were sitting in the trees chirping and tweeting
  and fluffing up their wings.
Their tweets were not very loud,
but I heard them ohh so clear!
I wanted to tweet too,
 and so I did.
My tweet was not very loud,
but I tweeted along wth my bestest tweet!

And then the sun's smile began to stretch across the sky
as if  a paint brush had been dapped in blues and purples and cotton candy!
The sun's smile was ohhh so big!
 The sun made me smile.
Today the pond sang its song!
 Nitey nite.

How exciting to hear the croaks. Spring must really have arrived there Tweedles. I have not heard any frogs so far this year. I hope the toad that lives under our bush next to the house comes back.

Your poem made me smile and feel very happy. I fall asleep every night listening to our frogs here singing at night.
Your photo is really wonderful - you and you green friend! The scenery is gorgeous! I wonder if you and your moms would mind if I tried a painting, using your photo as a reference?

You live in such a beautiful place. I am so happy that you had fun by your singing pond and were able to join in. I know all the critters loved having you sing with them.

Oh Tweedles, the photo of you with your little froggy friend sat by the water is so beautiful, I loved that you sat and croaked along with the frogs, the sweet birds that sing in spring as they make their tweeting musical melodies, the wonder of your painted sky on cotton candy canvas and the smile of your Sun as it peeps through the clouds at you, it all fills me with such joy, such incredible happiness to know that you are smiling as the spring leaps in to action, the joy of the earth as it awakens from winters sleepy slumber and the air filled with new life, sounds and smells!
Tweedles your words inspire me and I am so glad that you are a puggy like me, who loves all of the earths wonderful creatures! We are never far apart in this world! Love, Licks, Hugs and those wonderful little purple bubbles that I send from me to you! Your Furiend Frank XxxxxxxX

You do look rather charming sitting there Tweedles and your ever so charming little friend. Did you kiss him ? That's what I want to know !
If he were here, he would have to have his sweater on too, it's so cold, not froggy time at all... SO GOOD TO SEE YOU TWEEDLES, I'll leave you to guard your friend and make sure he makes it back to the pond
