The Gray Clouds and the Ones that Roar!

I wonder if you heard the trees singing this morning?

I think if you listen  very closely- you can still  hear them sing.
Come sit beside me and let's listen!

  The trees  are so happy!
And maybe you are wondering why?
You see,  the trees are singing and dancing all over the mountain tops,
 and in the shadows
because Mother  Earth,,,
 gave them rain drops!
Yes!! Rain drops  to fall on their thirtsty branches!
And coolness for their toes to wiggle deep into the earth.

And rain drops came for all of us!!  For you and for me!
The trees wrote these words especially for this moment,,
and the trees taught me to sing along!
" Thank you for the rain drops,,  !!!  la,, la  la,,, thank you"
Little  baby birdies that have  never seen rain drops,,, ohh they  thank you too,,,,
and all of the forest animals..!
Thank you for the white billowy clouds!
Thank you for the gray clouds!
Clouds please come back and bring more rain!

And thank you for the clouds with the voice that sounds like a lion roaring.

Come again rain drops,, come back again soon,
We love you.

We got rain this morning too and it helped keep our lovely plant friends happy and it stopped by noon time so we got to have plenty of outside time during the day. That's the rain we love

We haven't seen rain in months.
And it's too hot to stay outside. Just stinks.

We have had lots and lots of rain - too much almost. I kept crossing my paws and asking mother earth to send all our rain to areas that were dry and really needed the rain more than us. So happy the trees are so happy now.

Oh you pretty tree, won't you sing to me!

I am trying my hardest to hear the trees sing back. Wait, what is that?
"Ziggy I see you, now come and dance with me, for I am a beautiful tree"

Thank you Tweedles for helping me sing with the trees.

I love you

Mother Nature is so strange sometimes. We have had a lot of rain this year and yet some areas get none at all. It is so sweet ot hear the birdies singing. We are happy your trees got sprinkled with some of that rain, and we hope you can get more soon and then more regularly.

Hi hi hi! Ojo here! We had big rain drops and clouds that roared this week too! This almost never happens where we live, and for some reason our person gave us treats each time the sky roared! This was amazing! (There are Dogs down the street clearly were not getting treats when the sky roared because they were barking and barking and barking!)

It was fantastic to get rain. The plants and the earth were very happy! I was happy too!

And it sounds like you were happy from your growling clouds and rain! I hope it comes again soon for both of us!

We're so happy you got some rain. We live in a drought-prone area, though you wouldn't notice this year, and it's fantastic when the rain comes. You're right, the plants sing.

I'm glad you were able to hear the trees singing, Twee! Could you please tell the clouds to come out to Chicago? We need some nice cold raindrops to cool things off here a tad. :)
