Fire Flys Kissed My Nose

Maybe they would come,,
I thought " maybe,,"
and then I saw
them flickering
and streaming
down from the moon
and down they came and kissed my nose!

My dream came true
and now they will fly away,,
and go kiss the stars.
Its not goodbye, my Fire fly friends,,,
See you later!

Nitey nite
love

We haven't been out enough in the evening to see them, but we hope our lovely fireflies are around to give us some kisses too.

Not a better nose for those fireflies to kiss than yours, Tweedles. We are going to have to spend some time on our deck and see if we can get kisses too:)

That was beautifu. SHE remembers chasing the fireflies when SHE was little. So nice to know they're still around.

Crikey Tweedles ..... I think I'm missing out on something here!! I've never seen a firefly. I wonder if we have them here in Australia. Did they really kiss your nose?? Oh ..... I'd so like to see them!!

Oh Tweedles, isn't that fun to see the fireflys. We see some every once in a while but not often. You all have a wonderful evening.

We call them Lightning Bugs here in Tennessee, and they have been dancing in the night woods and chasing Oliver for the past three weeks now.....
Enjoy their magic Tweedles, it won't be much longer and they'll be gone at least for this season.

I haven't seen fireflies yet this year but it has been rainy the past few weeks.
The hay in the garden doesn't have a lot of seeds because we use second cut hay for it.

I love this poem.

I wish we could see some fireflies here, we see less and less as the years go by.
