"They Are Hungry"

All of my friends have been talking about the homeless doggys in orphanages.

The doggy orphanages are trying to take care of all the homeless, and find homes for the homeless.

Now we can help.

Thanksgiving and Christmas is coming soon, and I want to help all the homeless have food, and help the orphanage find homes.

Everyday, I count all my lucky stars, that I have a forever home and food.

My friends said that I could copy this link,,,,, so I did..... now I share it with you.

I hope I did this right,,,, so it will make some wishes come true for doggys with no homes.

* Each year, more than 4 million dogs end up in shelters and breed rescue organizations. Pedigree created The PEDIGREE Adoption Drive to help shine a spotlight on the plight of these homeless dogs.

So far more than 1 million bowls have been donated.

* Special for BlogPaws West: For each blog that posts about the PEDIGREE Adoption Drive through September 19, PEDIGREE will donate a bag of its new Healthy Longevity Food for Dogs to shelters nationwide.

It's simple: Write a post, help a dog

Just write a short post on your blog that mentions the Pedigree Adoption Drive, and uses the words, "Dogs Rule". Pedigree will donate a 20 pound bag of their new dog food, Pedigree Healthy Longevity Food for dogs to shelters across the country for every post written.

Do you want to help?

"The Forest Is On Fire"

A huge shadow drifted mysteriously through the gray clouds.
I saw the shadow on the tree tops, and then it soared around me, in circles.
I spun around until I was dizzy.
In the blink of an eye, I recognized who the shadow belonged to.
It was my friend Owlburt, the wisest owl, in all of the forests.

I noticed that some of Owlburts feathers were a little ragged looking,
a little frazzled
and tattered looking,
and some feathers were burnt!
"I have come so far to find you, Tweedles. I flew as fast as my wings could fly." Owlburt said.

"I need to ask for your help. Can you come and help me?"
"You see Tweedles, the forest is on FIRE, in Colorado"
"Forest animals are running for their lifes.
They don't know where to go. Animals are afraid. We must help them."
With huge owl eyes, Owlburt looked at me,,,, he opened his huge beak, and said....
"Will you help me? "

What's a Tweedles to do?
Of course, was my answer, of course I will help you Owlburt!!
In an instant, I climbed onto Owlburts back.
I tightly clinched ahold of the soft feathers on Owlburts neck, and I rested my face, on his head.
As Owlburt looked back at me, he winked, and then and with a leap, we were in the air!
I held on tight as we soared over the billowy storm clouds, and over moutains.
The wind tickled my ears, but I did not care.
I watched the earth below, and my eyes caught a glimpse of all the green and golden colors, of our wonderful world.
I saw the desert and the lakes and rivers and snow capped mountains.
And then,,,, I smelled smoke, black, black smoke.
Animals were running in all directions!
The forest was on fire!!
I had no time to think. Now was the time.....,,,,,
I reached my paws into my pockets and pulled out a fist full of bubbles,,,, one by one,,, the bubbles,,, the magic bubbles floated into the smokey sky.
Magically the bubbles joined hands with each other,,, the bubbles swirled and swirled in the sky and then slowly they drifted to the ground below..
The bubbles surrounded all the animals, protecting them and leading them to safety.
I looked down through the smoke , to the animals below. I watched the animals follow the trail of bubbles to safety.
They followed the bubbles to water, and to where the air was not smokey.
There were bunnies and deer, and racoons, and skunkies,,, and so many birds....
The animals were safe at last.

It's a long journey for all these animals,,, I keep them in my heart tonight.
I keep mother earth in my heart, too,,,,, I know her heart is sad.
I believe in hope,,,,, I know the earth will heal.

To our friends Melissa, Fred, Emmitt and Melanies family, and to the forest that burned .
And our many forest friends,,, may they all follow the trail of bubbles.
And to Owlburt, the wisest owl in the forest,,, I dedicate this story.

"I Will See You Again Sometime"

I am a dreamer.
These magic bubbles,,,,, helped make my wish, and my dreams come true.
Let me share with you.

The magic bubbles came floating across the Great Northwest sky.
The bubbles brought my friends , from Washington.
The bubbles also brought sweet Diane from California,.
Diane was visiting with her family in Washington.
Together we met and we re-united,,,,
We shared a dream, my dream, that came true.
We shared smiles and happy times.

The bubbles joined my sweet friends and I, together,
in The Land of the Dalhia Festival , in Oregon.
Flower blooms ,,,,,,
the many colors of the rainbow
painted the earth below, in a glorious display.
Reds blossoms
and yellow blossoms
and purple blossoms
and orange blossoms
and white blossoms,,,,,
There was such a slendorious display,
I could not fathom their beauty.
Proudly the Dahlias stood.
Proudly the bubbles swirled around them.

I met Roxy girl, @ Roxy's Adventures,,, for the first time.
Roxy, is my new bloggy pal from the state of Washington.
She lives in Washington, the same state as Sequoia and Tuni and Puglette.
If you have not met Roxy, go and say hello.
Roxy is so mellow and charming.
What a cute little pup, she is.
Look at those eyes!
Roxy drews a lot of attention!
It was easy to see, that Roxy is the Apple, of Sharon and Wayne's eye. (her parents)
We had the grandest time sniffing all the Dahlias.

This is My Blue Moon friend, Kong .
He stood so galently, as he waited for me to walk over to him.
Our tails wagged. Our noses touched.
Kong was with his mom Gail.
The crowds surrounded Kong as he stood so proud.
I cannot count all the hugs and kisses that Kongs little lips received.
Isn't he so "beautious, and he knew how to show his cuteness.
Kong does not have a bloggy, but his Aunt Daine does.
You can say hello to Kong, here Dianes Mixed Art,

Both Roxy and Kong were like famous celebrities in the crowds of people.
Everyone wanted to have their pictures taken with them.
Everyone wanted to kiss and hug them.
To complete my dream come true,,,
All my friends came to see "my Tweedles world."
My world that is surrounded by the forest.
I do believe the forest sang,,,,,,,,
as Kong and Roxy ran free,, in my huge yard.
There was so much to sniff, so much to explore.
My sweet Diane and Gail smothered me in kisses and hugs.
I will never wash my tummy again!!! (that is where the kisses are).
I was sad to see to say goodbye,,,
but I was thankful to the magic bubbles
for making my dream come true.
Please come back again, my friends.

"The Flowers Will Sleep"

The flowers in my garden
have such sleepy, sleepy eyes.
Baby birds have grown feathers
and they are learning to fly,,,,
so high up in the sky.
Little fawns have lost their spots.
The spots are somewhere on the ground,,,
somewhere,,,
I don't know where.
The sky is painted
with swirls
of pink puffy clouds
and sometimes I smell rain.
Yesterday a cool breeze tickled my ears,,,
I turned and looked
but the breeze was gone.
Today I saw a golden leaf
float gently in the wind,,,
It swirled,
and swirled ,
and danced,
And then
it touched the ground.
I saw the stars
twinkle in the night sky.
I saw the man in the moon,,,,
he winked at me.

Soon summer will be leaving....
I don't know how to say goodbye.
All the flowers will hang their heads
but they will snuggle close together.
I will be right there to tuck them into the earth
with their sleepy sleepy eyes.
I will see them again next year.

I paint my summer memories in my heart....
and sometimes I paint words.
These little books were sent to me by Melissa and Emmitt, Life is art ... Art is Life
I plant my little seeds of thought on these pages,,,,,
I paint my dreams.
When the time is right,,,
the gentle winds will touch these pages
and these seeds that I planted, will float
across the big, big blue sky
and someday
these seeds will bloom.
Nitey nite my friends, and nitey nite my sleepy flowers.

"It's A Beautiful Day"

It 's a beautiful day.
It's a good day think about, and remember my summer fun days.
I love surprises.
It seems like only yesterday that this little surprise arrived in my mail box.
Emmitt and Melissa sent it to me, so I could have my very own nana.
Melissa made it just for me.
Emmitt has one too!
I can toss it in the air.
I can peel it.
I can use it like a pillow.
This nana is mine,
all mine.
I love nanas, so much.
And I love Emmitt and Melissa .
I thank them both.

Look at this surprise that came in the mail, addressed to me.
I won this whole box of goodies from The Slimmer Pugs.
They had a contest, on their bloggy, and I won.
There were so many surprises in this box.
Gourmet Cookies for me, (low calorie) and treats made from cheese.
And a fun toy that I just love, because I can toss it into the air, and chew on it,
and play catch me if you can.
There was even a pressie in this box for my moms.
It is really special.
The special something is a little pug collectible figurine , from artist Jim Shore Heartwood Creek.
The little pugs figurines name is Sarge.
Sarge is now sitting up on the TV entertainment center, with 2 other little puggies that moms collected.
My moms treasure that little puggie.
And of course I treasure my gifts.
We thank all our friends at Slimmer Pugs , what generous big hearts they have.

Another of my surprises was this Award, from Sharon @ Sharon's Paws Create.
She told me , that I was like sunshine.
Those words made my heart sing.
Sharon is an artist, and she puts sunshine in many peoples hearts.
I know I am late in posting about this,,,,
but it seems like it was only yesterday.

Do you know who this is? This is Melissa (Emmitts mom)
It was early summer.
My moms and I traveled to Seattle to attend the pug fest.
I had some bloggy friends that I wanted to meet,,,,, for the very first time.
Melissa and Melanie were two of those special friends.
They could not beleive their eyes, when I snuck up on them unexpectedly.
But, they knew who I was,,,,,, immediately. ,,,,, the Tweedles.
Of course I was so happy,,
I was very squirmy,
and Melissa held on tight.
I showed off all my tricks ,,,,
like " HIGH 5", and sing....... sing ,,,, sing.
I am a little show off.

I am looking at this portrait, because it reminds me of someone special.
My sweet Diane, created this for me, and mailed it to my house.
I had never met Diane, until I went to Seattle to the pug fest.
And so we met, in that beautiful city. She smoothered me with kisses.
I made her giggle.
I fell in love with Diane and her sister Gail...
And yes, I had a reunion with beautiful Kong- Gails puggy.
I had met Kong for the first time, on a snowy blizzardy Blue Moon in December.

When the autumn chill arrives next month, I will show you a sweater that my friend Midge and Ames Soto Blossom made for me.
It came all the way from England.

I wanted to tell you about another special person who has helped me,,, all winter and all summer. That person is Mimi at Loving for a Living. She is the one who makes my bloggy a fun place for you all to come visit with the butterflys and ribbons. And special words. She placed" the worlds "on, so I can see when you come. I thank her soo much. What a big heart she has,,,, and I have never met her either. But across the miles,... she reached out and asked if she could help me.. I thank you Mimi.
It seems like only yesterday that all these treasures appeared before my eyes. I like to remember these beautiful days,,,,,
