I have been so worried lately, I must tell you why

I keep thinking about my friend, Owlbert.
Owlbert lived in the forest above my home, with his family. Every nite as I fell asleep, he would hoot lullabyes to me.
Now things have changed and Owlbert has been silent because his home is gone.
Totally gone.
Some big people with chain saws came and took away Owlberts home. It's very sad and the forest is not pretty anymore- because the forest is gone.
I am very sad to think about all the other little and big animals that lived in those beautiful tall trees, and now their home is gone too.
I am so sad.
It's winter. Snow has been falling. The ground is frozen solid.
Everything is very quiet.
Now my friends are homeless. Please keep my friends in your thoughts- that they are safe, and have a warm place to warm their little toes! I miss Owlbert so much, and I miss his luullabye hoots to me.

Hi Tweedles!

Puggies and big hearts go hand in hand :) So glad to meet you and with all the good thoughts, the animals in your backyard will surely find a good new home. They are on their way there now. Melissa and Emmitt sent us by. My name is Moe and my mommy is Melissa's sister, Melanie. Have a great day!

Hi Tweedles! We live in the Pacific Northwest so we understand about logging (doesn't mean we agree with it, but we understand). We have lots of homes for owls here so perhaps your owl moved here to check out the housing market. Owls are very self-sufficient and they do move around. We have a heritage oak forest that owls love, so we think perhaps your friends have moved in here.

We love puggies (Mum does even more that we do) and hope you will be our new friend.

Love, Dozer, Dottie and Cooper

Hi Tweedles! We dropped in to let you know that although Owlbert's forest was cut down I thinks he has moved in behind our house...I heard some hooting last night. We has a BIG forest behind us and it will never, never get cut down so he (and all his friends)can live here forever.

Ahh this is really sad!
I sure hope your friends find some nice trees nearby so you can hear them hoot again!
