"Tweedles in Toy Land"

Hi my friends
Where' s the Tweedles? Bet you can't find me. Do you see me?
I am not sure what to do! I am so very PERPLEXED.
I over heard my moms say that my toy basket was HEAPING and that maybe they should hide some of my toys for awhile. Their plan was to bring them out at another time. Bad idea!
As you can see, I play with ALL of my toys everyday, all day long.
My toys were all marching around the living room with me this morning, and the music was playing loud. As you can see it was the real deal- "the march of the toys"
I tried to explain this to moms. I don't know if they believed me. What more can I do?

I have looked over all my toys from head to toe and there is not one that I could part with.
No, not a one. It's true that I do have 5 or 6 frogs, that all look the same to my moms- but not to me! I know everyone is different. Each one smells different, sound different. I can tell them all apart, because they are MINE. And, I do have some toys that were my "specials" when I was just a tiny baby- but they are all still very special ,to this very day.
So what's a Tweedles to do?
What do you think?
I am in a panic situation now. Don't I look like it? Are you worried for me?
In my thinking, I would sat if the basket doesn't fit- then its time for MORE baskets! Not less toys!
I am a little worried aslo, cause I know Christmas is coming as soon as the summer and autum leave. Course Autum in not here yet. But, I do not want to wait until the last minute to start worrying.
I have been a very good pug. That is what Santa Paws told me to do- last year- be a good little puggie, and I have tried so very hard.
I already found some of my pressys, that I was not supposed to find in the kitchen cubboard. Of course they were snatched away from me before I could blink my eyes.
Does that mean moms will take them back to the toy shop and I won't ever get them?
I am worrying so much, I might get warts!

I think I will start hiding them so they won't dissapear from me. I have just the perfect place to stash them. How about under the couch?
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I know one thing tonight- I am wishing on stars for a lot of reasons.
Maybe you could help me wish tonight. Lets close our eyes and wish.
Nitey nite my friends
love
tweedles

hi tweedles!
oh what a wonderful photo of you with all of your toys!
oh you are exactly right! all of your toys have a special place in your heart. they are all friends, memories and share fun stories with you!
how about sorting them by color, animal or season and see if your moms can put one or two piles in a safe place to be rotated so that everyone gets your undivided attention and your moms don't trip. :)
that is what i do for emmitt and it is like old friends are here all the time for him and I don't trip. :)

I have to agree with Melissa and Emmitt, you need to have mom place a few of them aside and rotate them in to play with. You should not have to part wif any of dem, boy i wish I had dat many toys, you must be in Heaven...all I have is a few bones, 1 Larry da Lobster and my brother Titan and Sister Annabelle to play wif. i guess my mom finks if I have dem i don't need a lot of toys, some days I will trade for da toys, the toys don't bite back like puppies do. If your mom won't rotate them in, then I say HIDE THEM everywhere, if you can't find enough places, mail them to me and I will keep dem safe for you till you are ready for a few new faces, OK???

Wow Tweedles you have a LOT of toys, I don't have that much. I know you have been a very good...always, I understand how you feel about those precious toys. I have an idea but I don't think you will like it. Why don't you just give them away I mean share them to a dog orphanage so you could make those orphaned dogshappy, I know they needed some stuff like your toys, you can share some of them, if you like but if you don't keep them in a safe place...okay?

Sweet Tweedles!!! It is not fair to take your toys. The mommas should just get you more baskets. All of our toys are special and deserve to be loved, not taken away!! I hope your mission is successful and you save all of your toys!!!

Hi Tweedles, we found your cute self in that parade of the toys. You actually have more than we do and we thought we had a lot!!! Sometimes it is fun to let Mom put some of them away for a while and then surprise you with them on a rainy or boring day. We will help you wish on those stars and maybe all of our wishes will come true.

Your collection is like a pet store. Don't let them take any! I have almost none and my mom always wants to do that. What's mine is mine.

Tweedles, OMD, I am sorry it took me so long to read this, I am on my way. Protect the toys at any cost. We will find hiding places, your Moms would never think to check. Under couch cushions, in the back of closets, under the bed, the list is endless. I have had to play this game myself many times. Don't worry my friend help is on the way. "Magic bubble don't let me down now, to Tweedles, hurry".

licks and sniffs, Sasha

Sasha has easily as many toys as Tweedles, do you think we spoil our pups lol? I do go through Sashys toys every so often and try to weed them out, but she will randomly just go into the toy pile and pull out something she hasn't played with in forever and play with it. Then I feel bad about taking any of her toys. The painter was here today touching up the kitchen and he looked around and said"Your little dog has a lot of toys". I just smiled and laughed.

Oh tweedles! I feel your pain. I have a ton of toys too (I think you have beaten my toy count) and I love every one too. I like the more baskets idea. Do you have a crate or den at your place? If so thats a great place to hide them as no hoomans are allowed inside. If not you may want to get one. I keep my "specials" in there.

Note from mom: Should we start a toys anonymous group for dogs with blogs and toy addictions? I think Mollie would qualify.

Hi Tweedles! I have never seen that many toys in my life. I also can't believe you play with all of them every day. Wow!

I think you should donate some of you toys to a pet shelter so that other doggies can play with them.

Hey there, Tweedles
GREETINGS FROM SOUTH AFRICA!
We found your blog via Jan Mader's blog and yeah - decided to visit. What a lovely surprise! So many toys and so little time! mmm. Well, we have only one suggestion to reduce that pile:
Get another poochy in YOUR household - that should do the trick! In the meantime, we agree that you need ALL those companions!
Anyway, hope we can be friends.
Lots of licks

Thanks for the chicken soup when I was sickie last week! You're the best friend Tweedles!

I think I have a basket big enough for all of your toys. I bought it one year for my daughter's Easter Basket. I think a small tricycle would fit in it. I mean to tell ya, it's huge! I filled it with all kinds of stuff and you shoulda seen the look on her little face when she saw that HUGE basket. Priceless!! Just like you, little Miss Tweedles. You are looking mighty good in your recent photos!
