What happened to Humpty Dumpty?

Hi my friends.
I am very puzzled about something that is very confusing to me.
And so, I have decided to ask all of you, what you all think.

I was sitting at the edge of my trickling creek early this morning. The grass felt soft as green velvet. The sun was shinning on my shoulders as I listened to the morning birds sing their wake up songs. It was quiet and peaceful, and I just wanted to sit and listen. I watched my reflection trickle in the little stream. If that reflection was really me, I wondered where the creek would take me.
As I gazed intently in the stream, I noticed that my reflection was not the only one I saw.
Something landed on my head,,,, a PINECONE!
I looked up in the trees and chanting began.....CROWS were chanting,,,,

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
All the Kings Mens and all the Kings Horses
could not put Humpty together again.
(i do not know who wrote this sad tale)

How sad is that!
I looked at the crows and I was DISTRAUGHT for Humpty. I ran back to the house and asked mom if we could go and search for Humpty Dumpty and help him. He needs our help mom, he needs our help!
Mom looked at me and said it was a Fairy Tale , and she did not understand it either.
The more I thought about Humpty, more and more thoughts came to my mind, and I decided we can help, maybe we can!
Can we?
Why did they make it so sad for Humpty to have no hope? I think who ever wrote the Fairy Tale had a bad day. It makes no sense to me.
Can you imagine if all the doctors wouldn't try to put my little friend.-Walter's bones back together again?http://walterthepug.blogspot.com/ The doctors, and therapists are trying very hard. Humpty could have screws and glue just like Walter- couldn't he?

I bet we can help Humpty Dumpty- what do you think? Come on Humpty- cheer up- we will help you! We believe in HOPE! We like happy endings, not sad endings.

One of these day's the little face on Humpty will be smiling again, just like before the great fall.
Can you all help me write a new Humpty Dumpty verse- so he will smile again?
If you need some suggestions for writing- you can go visit my friend Jan. I see some of my friends over there playing in her word pile- you can too!
http://ignitetowrite.blogspot.com/

I hope you all can think up a happy verse for Humpty Dumpty. We can work on it together.
I know you like happy endings too.

Nitey nite my friends
I will see you in my dreams, just like always.
love
Tweedles

Humpty Dumpty, crushed the wall.
So Humpty Dumpty, wouldn't fall.
All the Kings horses and all the Kings men.
Couldn't put all the rubbles together again!
Finished!

SO mommy scooped him up and gently heated him in a pan with a little butter and then I ATE HIM UP!

YUM!

(yeah...it doesn't rhyme and it isn't pretty, but I'm a poor starving PUG with a one track mind!)

But then along came a sweet pup who wanted to aid
And covered that boo boo with a Tweedles' Bandaid.
Humpty was fixed and sat there for a while,
And then he decided it was time to smile.

Good post and I liked everyone's poems. Even the Nantucket one. And it's so sweet of you to care Tweedles.

Dispatch wrote this poem.

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall and he was white.
He said man this bites.
Humpty Dumpty turned himself green.
He's a tennis ball isn't that keen?

Of course now Dispatch can chase the tennis ball, he doesn't like eggs.

Humpty Dumpty fell in some rubble

I don't know if I can get any better than Sasha...I love her poem!!!

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
Nearby was a sweet pug
Who caught Humpty in a rug...

So Humpty Dumpty's as snug as a bug in that rug!!!!

Oh I do love your story Tweedles....I'm going to come back and write another one later...is that okay? xoxoxo

P.S. don't forget I'm going to be with some high school friends this weekend. I think one of our games will be to figure out more ways to save Humpty......

Thank you for so much fun sweet pug!

Hi Tweedles! I'm not a poet, but I made this just for you:

Humpty Dumpty sat in Tweedle's yard.
Humpty Dumpty let down his guard.
Tweedles came along, picked up her new pal.
That Tweedles is such a sweet gal.

Now Humpty and Tweedles climbed into a bubble.
Where are we going? Will we get in trouble?
Don't worry Humpty, I have it all figured out.
Take that frown off your face; you must not pout.

Off went Humpty and Tweedles, but to where?
High in the sky, they sailed over a black bear.
Are we there yet? Humpty cried.
We are on our way, we haven't even tried.

Along they sailed, these two new buds.
Until they arrived at their location full of suds.
It's perfect here, just like I knew it would be.
Where should we land? What do you see?

They landed on the soft green grass.
Humpty Dumpty and his cute little lass.
We're finally here, we cannot falter.
Hello old friend, how are you Walter?

Stubby xoxo

hi tweedles!

oh emmitt and i wish we could write a wonderful poem but we see humpty as hard boiled and much, much stronger than he ever thought he was.

he realized that his strength comes from within and that his bumps from his fall might hurt for a little while but that he healed to be better and stronger than ever before.

My dear little friends,
You all came to the rescue!
If Humpty could read all your comments, he would be so happy! You all have left such beautiful touching words.
The world is such a better place because of all of you!
Keep sending in the special thoughts for Humpty!

Hi Tweedles! We don't know who Humpty Dumpty is but we don't like him to be broke either. Maybe we could put some tape on him? Or use a glue gun? I don't think the king's men had glue guns or they woulda used them.

I saw Humpty Dumpty
Truly I did
He was at he lodge
With an unruly kid

I told him you'd help him
If he'd stop by your site
He said if he could
He'd stop later tonight!

My brain is muy tired, long day at work with another slated for tomorrow, so can't think about Humpty Dumpty, except to say most nursery rhymes are infact sad and dark.

I'm trying to get to the bottom of our on going conversation about load time. I found a tech site right before I left for work that tests your site and it says my sites loads in 5.11 seconds. I think thats pretty good, but am troubled by the blocks, messages etc. that you're getting. I found a 2nd site that showed mine loaded fast than 78% of the blogs, whatever that means.

I even plugged in 2 of my sites Sandy's Space, and The Suitcase for a comparison. It indicated Sandy's Space took 10.57 seonds which is double. Could you try them both and tell me what you're experiencing?

Tomorrow in the light of day, I'll send you the link so you test your sight...or maybe since I've got the fast connection I'll check it for you and let you know what I learn. It lists the things on your site in order of load time.
