"I Found A Feather"

I found a feather
dancing in the wind.
It twirled in circles
around me
flittering and fluttering
and tossing in the breeze.
and then it glided higher
into the pale blue sky .

I stretched my paws
as high as they could reach
and then gently as butterfly wings
the feather floated to my paws.
I listened so intently
as the feather softly whispered

come fly with me,
lets fly over the rainbow
lets dance in the wind
let the magic begin!

I wonder where the feather came from?
Did someone send it to me?
Tonight I will dream about ,,,
Floating,
and gliding,
and twirling,
and fluttering.
Tonight I will dream about flying with the feather,
and being free as the wind.
Will you?
Nitey nite
love

Oh Tweedles, this may just be my favorite poem of yours. I think it may be an angel feather, sent from the heavens. Maybe from a dear friend who is watching over you!

Your pal, Pip

P.S.: Sweet Pea is doing very well. Thanks for all your good wishes!

I will, Tweedles! I will dream that we are both flying. Flying towards each other in a sky as blue and bright as the one in your pictures.
Love,
Payton
PS. You look adorable in the grass with those tiny petals. I bet the smells are so nice.

That was so much fun and I bet you did wonder where in the world the feather came from and why.

It was a large feather too - what do you think it was from?

Tweedles your poem makes us float and spin in midair! I imagine the sky filled with your friends all dancing in the air following you and the feather as you gracefully lead us across a moonbeam lit meadow.

Great photos! You described floating so well I can close my eyes and feel it! Now about Kodee.. those feathers are an obsession of hers to eat - she whines as soon as she smells the lake!

Tweedles,

I will dream of the feather too and maybe our dreams will collide and together we will soar through the wind in the sky. We will look down below and see the earth and all it's wonders. Imagine the view! Then we will part and will wake in our own beds with wind swept fur and a feather on our pillows.

That feather might I SAY MIGHT belong to one of my feathered friends Tweedles. Looks as if I have seen it before. They didn't need it or they wouldn't have sent it to you.

Hi Tweedles! Now, you will just not believe this BUT last week we had a feather just like yours in our garden, we were chasing it but it blew away. Do you think it came across the sea and swirled its way into your yard? We love your poem, take care and have a good week Tweedles, Dex and Lou xxx

Thought I would like to clear things up here young Tweedles, your feather... has nothing what so ever to do with Frankie de tabby. It's all yours x

Hey there Tweedles...
Another beautiful post. It's the smallest things in life that are often the most significant. Take a look at that feather...its incredible interlocking spurs - the finest little things on the actual branches. Incredible, isn't it. Im not surprised you are fascinated!
Sorry I've not been around - busy here...
Sending lots of special love to you
