"July Will Sleep On Top Of The Rainbow"

Today, July is going on a journey.
She is going to sleep for a year on top of the rainbow!
And then next year she will return for more fun and magical days.

I remember the beautiful July day that I went hiking with my moms.
We walked in the forest.
When my paws were too tired to walk anymore, my mommy put me in her back pack!

I thank July for making my forest such a magical place.

I thank July for ripening my strawberrys!

I thank July that the sun shines down and makes the flowers, and earth, and rain, and grass, and streams smell so good.

My berries smell good too!

I thank July for this beautiful summer day.

I thank July for bringing my magic bubbles to visit me.

I thank July for new friends.

It's always good to say what your heart is feeling.

And now it is time for July to sail away to the Rainbow and close her eyes.

Sleep tite July. See you next year.

Nitey nite

love

That photo in the back pack is so cute. OH Tweedles, you made Mums shed a tear, as you brought back memories of a long past soul, they used to have strawberries in the front garden but never ever got a strawberry off them as Mandy the weimarana would check them out every day and pick all the ones just turning red. They died the year after she passed as the wallabies kept eating the plant.

Good morning Tweedles, July was a wonder month for sure. I hope it has a good rest. We are already enjoying August by celebrating Brigitte's 11th Birthday today. I love all your pretty pictures. Have a wonderful day!

This post was just what I needed, Tweedles. I was so sad to see July go but you have shown me that I must remember all she has given me.

Your strawberries look delicious but keep your new friends out of them, trust me. Your magic bubbles will still be around in August because they never leave you. Your forest looks so amazing in the summer, so lush and green. I can't wait to see how it transforms as the days and nights get cooler, the sunlight gets shorter, and the birds migrate south. Such wonderful days ahead just like the wonderful ones that have passed.

Come back July! Some like it hot! I'm watching a little chipmunk friend right now snatching corn in our backyard. But your friend seems content in his pot.

We can see that July treated you very well, Tweedles. Those strawberries look yummy. And such a pretty forest. All we got from July was lots and lots and lots of hot weather. And now August is doing the same thing. HOpe something better comes along here, or we might have to move to the West Coast.

Hi Tweedles,
I like your end-of-July observations. I spent the end of July in the Lake Tahoe area enjoying the waning days of the colorful wildflowers. We experienced thundershowers (we don't get many of them in SoBay), double rainbows, cooling breezes off the snow capped mointains, and coyote serenades in the darkness of nighttime.

Tweedles,

Thank you for reminding us to thank one of our favorite months. We thank July for taking us on holiday to the beach, for making our marigolds bright and sunny, for the happy times we spend in our gazebo with friends and family and for the sweet mint growing in the back yard which Mommy has turned in to yummy tea!

Oh Tweedles. I've had a rough couple of days but you made me smile and appreciate my world even more. You're an amazing girl, so thankful and hopeful. I hope that you get more hikes with your moms in August!!!

Sleep tight, sweet Tweedles. July is snoring...

And now August opens her newborn eyes and beckons us from the tinkling bells of summer's fairy dances to the magical painted trumpets of autumn.

You poem is lovely and inspiring.

hey Tweedles,

What a sweet tribute to July! I am glad you had such a wonderful and eventful July. The hike with your moms into your beautiful forest sounds like heaven! I especially love your adorable new little friend!

I must have had your July's evil twin because my July was brutally hot. I could not go on walks or play outside all month. Not a fun month for me.

Your photos are precious, and I bet your berries tasted very yummy!

I love your good bye post for July, Tweedles. But mostly, I love your magic bubbles. Do you sell magic bubbles? You should. With your picture on the bottle. :-) When I think of bubbles, I almost always see your sweet face.

Tweedles my friend.... I wish that I could say goodbye to July like we do every year but this year Mum and I thinks that July forgot to come back. We don't know where it went but Mum suspects it was having too much fun sleeping above the rainbow that if forgot it's cue to return.

Mum says the garden didn't mind one bit. It really enjoyed the fact that April stuck around a little longer than usual unfortunately the fruits and veggies disagree.

As for me..... well I missed July this year but that spring rain was sure refreshing even though it should have been warmer.
