Gentle sprinkles are tumbling from the sky.
Pittering and pattering, drip, drip,drip.
Close your eyes like me.
Smell the sweetness.
Smell the freshness of the new day.
Cup your paws to your ears,, and listen,,,
Pitter patter,,, drip, drip, driping.
The sprinkles are singing.
Sprinkles kissed these lilies and painted them in shades of red.
These Fox Gloves were thirsty, but not anymore.
The sprinkles bathed the pink rose with sweetness.
The sprinkles bathed this little flower with a happy face.
The sprinkles traveled down into the soil where the thirtsy roots waited for a drink.
Baby birds sitting on moss covered branches..
fluffed their wings as the sprinkles fell from the sky.
Close your eyes and smell the sweetness.
Smell the freshness of the new day.
Cup your paws to your ears and listen as the sprinkles sing.
She did not hurry. She walked slow.
She likes the sprinkles-just like me!
She had her very own umbrella!
Now the sprinkles will sing to me, as I close my sleepy eyes.
Pitter patter,,, drip, drip, drip.
The sprinkles are singing.
Nitey nite

Hi Tweedle,
I love your sprinklers. we have not had any sprinklers in our skies lately. But sunny skies have been beautiful. I think I heard that your sprinklers are coming to visit me tomorrow. I hope I get to see a snail too!
Love,
Wilma
Oh what a wonderful story, Tweedles! All the flowers were so thirsty until the sprinkles fell. I bet the sprinkles fell just in time, too because the flowers needed water - the elixir of life.
You look so cute in your yellow rain coat. I know you need to stay dry and I'm sure you do in your raincoat. I sure hope you kept your little toes dry, too!

Oh Tweedles, I never thought of sprinkles like this! Putting happy faces on flowers and washing little birds. How sweet!
You look lovely, as always, in your pretty coat. I hope you had a lovely weekend!!

You are so cute in your yellow raincoat getting sprinkled on and you are not afraid. How in the world did you see that little snail.
Remember the song - Listen to the Rhythm of the Falling Rain . . .
How pretty, Tweedles! It looked like you were really taking in the fresh smells of the rain and nature. I wish the sprinkles would sing here. It is so dry and hot. I will dream of the rain tonight and maybe it will come soon.
Love,
Payton

Tweedles we have matching rain coats! We NW pugs need them here. Your snail friend is cute...all we have are slug friends here they are missing their umbrellas.

We sure wish we could feel some gentle sprinkles here, or even a good downpour. Way too hot for too long.
But it was a beautiful post, Tweedles, and oh, those flowers are all so pretty, especially the lilies.

Oh Tweedles, I wish it was sprinkling here ...it is so very hot and humid. Your words and pictures were so refreshing. I am going to close my eyes and imagine a cool rain to wash all this heat away.
Your pal, Pip
We had plenty of sprinkles this year so far and we have a lush slightly overgrown garden....love it to pieces and guess what I found today under some flowers....wild strawberries...yum yum! Doesn't the rain make things look beautiful...love it.
We are begging for sprinkles here! I will read them your beautiful poem and maybe they will travel down to better hear your loving words and to give OUR thirsty trees and hungry roots a bit of nourishment. Thank you.
We had a HUGE thunderstorm today. It was like crazy rain, no nice sprinkles like you had.

I love your raincoat, Tweedles. It suits you perfectly. Your photos of dripping flowers are divine. Our forest needs that rain... I'm so glad that yours got a drink.
Wow, a snail! I've never seen one here... probably because it's usually so dry.
Sweet dreams, Tweedles.
I'm going to do a follow up post titled,"Sprinkles are falling on my ice cream" What do you think Tweedles?
Sprinkle sprinkle...................

My goodness, Little Tweedles, it's so beautiful where you live. I love to see the pictures and read your words...so soothing. Kisses!
Oh Tweedles! Mom says she wishes that you would send some of those sprinkles our way, we miss rain!! But she wants to be clear - she only wants the rain to cool things off - she doesn't want our grass to grow because she still doesn't know how to work our lawn mower! ;)
NOW - THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH for donating to Vinny's upcoming surgery!!! You are SUCH a good friend and we are so thankful!!
Pug Hugs!
Vito (Gina and especially Vinny too!)
So refreshing. Thanks for the gentle reminder.

Your raincoat is adorable with those little duckies on the inside! And those ferns are huge! Our ferns are nowhere near that tall.
Tweedles we wanted to drop by and congratulate you on your fantastic book, we saw it through Pip's blog, it's fantastic and definitely on our Momsters wish list! Dex and Lou xxx
Hello Tweedles and Mom's! On a hot, hot day at Golden Pines, I have loved seeing your beautiful pictures and remembering when we had some sprinkles too--I hope ours come soon!!
what a cute raincoat! does it have lil' ducks on it? adorable..
We especially love the little snail, Tweedles. We don't get to see cutie pie snails like that in our yard. Maybe they don't like to come this far north 'cause their tiny feet get cold in the snow? Maybe.
