"Sprinkles Are Falling On My Head"

Gentle sprinkles are tumbling from the sky.
Pittering and pattering, drip, drip,drip.

Close your eyes like me.
Smell the sweetness.
Smell the freshness of the new day.
Cup your paws to your ears,, and listen,,,
Pitter patter,,, drip, drip, driping.
The sprinkles are singing.

Sprinkles kissed these lilies and painted them in shades of red.

These Fox Gloves were thirsty, but not anymore.

The sprinkles bathed the pink rose with sweetness.

And the little flowers were thirsty too.

The sprinkles bathed this little flower with a happy face.

The droplets of sprinkles traveled down the long branches of the fir trees.

The sprinkles traveled down into the soil where the thirtsy roots waited for a drink.

Baby birds sitting on moss covered branches..

fluffed their wings as the sprinkles fell from the sky.

Close your eyes and smell the sweetness.

Smell the freshness of the new day.

Cup your paws to your ears and listen as the sprinkles sing.

I watched this little snail as she walked through the grass.

She did not hurry. She walked slow.

She likes the sprinkles-just like me!

She had her very own umbrella!

Now the sprinkles will sing to me, as I close my sleepy eyes.

Pitter patter,,, drip, drip, drip.

The sprinkles are singing.

Nitey nite

love

Hi Tweedle,
I love your sprinklers. we have not had any sprinklers in our skies lately. But sunny skies have been beautiful. I think I heard that your sprinklers are coming to visit me tomorrow. I hope I get to see a snail too!

Love,
Wilma

Oh what a wonderful story, Tweedles! All the flowers were so thirsty until the sprinkles fell. I bet the sprinkles fell just in time, too because the flowers needed water - the elixir of life.

You look so cute in your yellow rain coat. I know you need to stay dry and I'm sure you do in your raincoat. I sure hope you kept your little toes dry, too!

You are so cute in your yellow raincoat getting sprinkled on and you are not afraid. How in the world did you see that little snail.

How pretty, Tweedles! It looked like you were really taking in the fresh smells of the rain and nature. I wish the sprinkles would sing here. It is so dry and hot. I will dream of the rain tonight and maybe it will come soon.

We sure wish we could feel some gentle sprinkles here, or even a good downpour. Way too hot for too long.

But it was a beautiful post, Tweedles, and oh, those flowers are all so pretty, especially the lilies.

We are begging for sprinkles here! I will read them your beautiful poem and maybe they will travel down to better hear your loving words and to give OUR thirsty trees and hungry roots a bit of nourishment. Thank you.

I love your raincoat, Tweedles. It suits you perfectly. Your photos of dripping flowers are divine. Our forest needs that rain... I'm so glad that yours got a drink.

Wow, a snail! I've never seen one here... probably because it's usually so dry.

Sweet dreams, Tweedles.

Oh Tweedles! Mom says she wishes that you would send some of those sprinkles our way, we miss rain!! But she wants to be clear - she only wants the rain to cool things off - she doesn't want our grass to grow because she still doesn't know how to work our lawn mower! ;)

NOW - THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH for donating to Vinny's upcoming surgery!!! You are SUCH a good friend and we are so thankful!!

We especially love the little snail, Tweedles. We don't get to see cutie pie snails like that in our yard. Maybe they don't like to come this far north 'cause their tiny feet get cold in the snow? Maybe.
