"This Is A Story About Courage"

Have you noticed the little birds
that have come back from their winter homes?
They came back to spend the spring and summer with us.
I see them high in the tall trees and the short trees too!
I see them stretching their wings out as far as they can reach
in the sun rays!
I hear them tweeting happy songs!

But then do you know what happened?
The sky unrolled a big gray blanket and out fell snowflakes!
I know how shocked the birdies must be to see snowflakes falling!
I saw them hover under the dripping branches and shiver!
But they are courageous and do not give up ! Never will they give up.
They will wait patiently as Mother Earth stirs the seasons.
Soon the season's will be just right, and it will truly be spring.
Oh, I hear those little birds still tweeting!
Yes, tweeting in the rain and snowflakes!

Those little birdies remind me of my friend Payton.
You see, Payton ( Pugnacious P ) has some serious health issues
that sometimes scare her and her family.
Payton has PDE. And now she has some new health sickies too.
Payton is a courageous puggie, and so is her family who love her so much.
Payton does not give up. Her mom and dad and gammy and gampy do no give up!
What a courageous little puggy she is. Courageous - just like the little birds!

I see bubbles in the sky right now and they are packed with
healing thoughts, prayers and wishes for Payton!
Watch them sail your way!

The birds and the squirrels and the flowers and all the other creatures and plants are very confused by what is happening with our weather out here. It's supposed to be in the 40's, but it was almost 80 today! So, very strange.

I am sending lots of good thoughts and wishes to your friend Payton!

Love, Pip

Hi Tweedles! Mom said to tell you that you have the "good kind" of comment box - it pops up and we can write to you!

OH NO, we got all caught up on Payton's blog not too long ago but we didn't know anything bad was happening now! Off to read! And sending healing thoughts to our friend and her mom & dad!

Hello Tweedles, my sweet,
The birds, all of us, are confused by the weird weather. And being an optimistic pessimist who reads way too much science fiction, I'm sure it's the effects of global warming.
I am sorry about Payton. PDE is horrible. My sister's pug, Betty, suffers from it as well. She seems to be doing well on prednisone, though.
Sorry to be a bit of a downer tonight.
Hugs to you and your moms!!! XOXO
Kath

So sorry your friend is feeling poorly, I will send healing thoughts and treats your way :)

That's really sweet of you to be concerned of Payton.

Did you make this prose? or is it a poem? I love it.

Those little birdies are truly brave... not only do they battle the winds but also the seasons.

Poor Payton! She does sound most brave.

Tweedles, I think we're going to try to plant some birdhouse gourds for the little birdies this year. I hope they grow!

I hope your friend is better soon Tweedles. I need to be more like the birds and learn to sing in the rain and snow too.

We are thinking good thoughts for Little Peyton. Paws tossed.

As much as we love snow, spring has sprung and snow now would damage so much of natures beauty. Guess we need to wait for next winter.

That is a story of courage. One year, our hummingbirds were here for a snowstorm. I kept bringing in our hummer feeder and thawing it for them... What amazing little birds.

I'm going to visit Payton. Thanks for sending him healing bubbles, and sending us to encourage him.

You're so sweet, Tweedles.

Tweedles you are so correct about the birds. We have been watching them from our window and wondering what they think of all this unsettled weather. I am sure that payton and her family feel the unsettled weather too but in a different way. The u certainty of illness and the stress is very unsettling. I know that they are strong and will make it through this rough patch. Payton is so lucky to have you and all the people in blogville to help her keep strong and get through this.

Hi Tweedles, thanks for your sweet words on my blog post. I gotta tell you sweetie, you are one of the kindest most loving puppy dog I know. My girls would just love spending the day with you. I agree about the birdies being so courageous. They seem so frail, yet they are so very strong. Your pug pal Payton is also a very courageous. It is so important to never give up. He sounds like such a sweetie too. One more thing, you are more adorable than I can say. See you soon!

Hi Tweedles, I have indeed noticed the little birds that have come back from their winter homes, on my walks now the trees are full of birds of all sizes singing songs of joy, they flit from tree to tree and jump for joy and dance for me, they know I mean them no harm and watch me as i move between the trees, the homes of all the birds, we have new bird houses for them all over the forest and people have books and are seeing what types of birds they can see, its a wonderful thing, those little tiny courageous birds do not give up at all, they stay through the winters frost and snow and now the summer comes and they are back! Payton was strong and just like the birds she kept on coming back, every time I see a bird I will think of her! they sing her song! Love, Licks and Hugs from your frind Frank xxxxxxx
