Tonight a twinkle in the sky caught my eye. I was by complete surprise. I then felt the wind brush through my fur and I could swear I heard a faint whisper in the wind. I stopped and looked way up, past the clouds, past the wind... yes I can see it, I see the new star. Then I felt a warm glow inside my heart and my tail curled tighter as I thought I felt my friends paws reaching for mine. I wagged my tail hard and barked... Yoda can you see us, can you hear us, are you watching? We will see you again one day when we become our own twinkling stars.
Now please excuse me as I must go gets Mum some kleenex.
