It's time my friends,,, for us to all join paws,,, and stand together.
October 2, 2010 is LIVESTRONG DAY.
Can you IMAGINE, if we never had to hear the word cancer again?
We would not have to stop in our tracks, and be sad.
Cancer has made me sad,, when it takes my friends away.
It has taken kittys and doggys away from their mommys and daddys.
Cancer has touched my moms lives too,,, and it has made them very sad.
Cancer touches everyone,,, sometime.
Can you IMAGINE, if cancer was gone!
It's not a dream, and that is why October 2 is LIVESTRONG DAY.
We are not giving in to cancer EVER... we will fight it! You and me,,,, we can do this!
There will be a cure, soon. I know it.
If you are one who has cancer.... I will stand beside you,,,,we must LIVESTRONG.
I will never give up the fight!! So take my paw!

What a great way to stand up to cancer, for all those battling and for all those who love someone battling cancer. Livestrong Day is something we can all support!
Tweedles, my sweet pal. First we love, love, love the silly picture of you, if we were sick, it would make us smile, seeing you all yellow. Mommy is smiling so big seeing that. Mommy has lost some good friends to that awful disease and understands. We are going to work on a post also. Once we saw a quote that said" I wish cancer would get cancer and die, so our loved ones would be safe."

I'm delighted to hold your little paw. It was 9 yrs ago that I found my lump. I'm a breast cancer survivor, It was 3 yrs ago that I had a very early melanoma removed from the back of my leg. BTW, alot of melanomas appear on the backs of the legs below the knee. Just where mine was, also had a pre-melanoma on my shoulder. I pray for the day we never hear that dreaded C word again! BE sure your Moms have a skin check every year and get their boobs smashed too, colonoscopy over 50. Check your furbabies for lumps too! Do it for yourself and the ones that love you. Love you!!

Dear Tweedles, it's up to all of us isn't it! I donated paintings to be auctioned here in Cape Town to raise funds for the bone cancer people. My darling Emma Rottweiler had bone cancer and my Sammy Rottweiler had some other type of cancer. Horrible. Keep safe and well dear Tweedles.
